Captain Arthur Brett Onslow of the 443rd (Light Infantry) Regiment posed for photographer William Clark of Bristol sometime after returning to England with his regiment in 1866. He wears the New Zealand Medal for his service in the 1863- 65 campaign against the Māori people.
