Stan Laurel (born in 1890 as Arthur Stanley Jefferson in Lancashire, England) and Oliver Hardy (born in 1892 as Norvell Hardy in Harlem, Georgia, USA)  uninformed as members of the Cameron Highlanders in the 1935 production of Bonnie Scotland.
