An early Edwardian photograph showing a veteran sergeant of the 14th Battalion, County of London Regiment, the "London Scottish". He wears a three-clasp Queen's South Africa Medal and what may be the 1902 Edward VII Coronation Medal.
The London Scottish did not serve in the Anglo-Boer War as a unit but members saw service while attached to the City Imperial Volunteers and the Gordon Highlanders.
