RA Bombardier Aden.png

A Bombardier of the Royal Artillery in a photograph was taken in the southern Arabian port city of Aden.

Used primarily as a coating station and located at the mouth of the Red Sea just opposite the Horn of Africa, Aden was curiously administered as part of British India until the 1930s.
