Identified on the photograph's reverse as Lewis Jagoe this soldier appears to be a lances corporal who may have been a member of the Commissariat & Transport Department - the forerunner of the Army Service Corps. I base this on certain similarities that his uniform bears to the later Army Service Corps. He appears to be wearing two good conduct stripes in his right cuff.

I was able to find one Lewis Jagoe who served around the time that this image was taken - Lewis John Jagoe - but who was a member of the 93rd (Sutherland Highlanders) for his entire military career and so is in all likelihood a different man altogether.
