A Spanish soldado (right) of an undetermined regimiento de infanteria photographed in Ceuta, North Africa. He wears what I believe is the c. 1911 pattern "caqui-beige" uniform and a 1909 salacot tropical helmet.

Next to the soldado (left) is what I assume is a local Berber warrior.  To my eye this "local" is in actuality a European dressed in North African costume, possibly a fellow soldado.
