Subadar Dalel Khan of the 25th Mountain Battery. Few details of Khan's life have come to light.

 

He served with the 25th at Suakin during the Sudan Campaign of 1898 as well as several expeditions on British India's frontiers. In 1906 he was appointed one of Edward VII's Indian Orderly Officers.

​

He wears the Order of British India (2nd Class) at his neck.
