Private Edgar Eli Harrison of the 93rd Cumberland Regiment of the Canadian Militia, pictured here was born at Athol, Cumberland, Nova Scotia on 1 September 1861, the son of Thomas and Mary Jane Harrison.

He was active with the 93rd Cumberland Regiment between 1879 and 1904, appearing in the militia lists and payrolls of the 93rd between those years,

Making a living as a farmer and miner, Harrison married Laurella Tower in 1881. They would have some 14 children. 

​

Harrison passed away at Springhill, Cumberland, Nova Scotia on 4 June  1941.
