Ramsay Hill (left) as Major Parkhurst in the 1952 production of Bwana Devil. Loosely base on the true story of the 1898 Tsavo Lion attacks Bwana Devil was in fact the first 3D film
shot in what became the 1950s 3D "craze" but also the first 3D film shot in color. Pictured with Ramsay Hill is the film's star attraction Robert Stack in the role of Bob Hayward.
When this photograph is looked at closely one can make out the electrical cord on the "oil" lamp being held by Ramsay Hill. One also wonders why he would be holding a lamp in
broad daylight.
