regiment. Note the heavy cord trousers worn by this soldier. Unfortunately the gold paint that was used to pick out
details of the young man's uniform obscured the regimental badge on his cap thus preventing positive identification
of his regiment. Regardless it is a superb example of a very early Canadian photograph.
