| This is I believe a member of the Royal Artillery. This assumption is based upon what appear to be a crossed cannon qualification badge above the Long Service & Good Conduct stripe on his right sleeve. No other identifiable insignia are to be seen. Any badge that he may have on his Foreign Service Helmet, which rests on the plinth next to him is hidden beneath the helmets' khaki cover. Cabinet Photograph J.
