| An interesting original example of a British Boer War cartoon by artist Charles K. Cook. It appears that old John Bull, here shown in the guise of a British naval Tar, is in for a bit of a rude surprise by the seeming harmless little Boer. I finely done water colour illustration I have been unable to find any information regarding the artist Charles K. Cook. Since this image appears to be more that a mere amateur exercise I assume that Cook was a professional illustrator Pen and Ink/ Water Colour on Paper. 7 inches by 10 inches (17.5 cm x 26.5 cm) Charles K.
