| Lance Corporal George Barton Meadows of the 1st Battalion, The Lincolnshire Regiment. Barton wears two Long Service & Good Conduct stripes on his left sleeve denoting 5 years of exemplary service. Above the LS&GC stripes are qualification badges for Marksman (crossed rifles) and Signaler (crossed signal flags).
