| An unidentified Sergeant of what of what was probably the Royal Artillery with his family and pet dog. My assumption of his regimental affiliation is based upon the bursting grenade device on his collar and cap as well as what appears to be a cannon above his chevrons. While his son wears the ubiquitous sailor suit common for little boy of the era he does sport a smaller version of his father's field cap.
