
| An un-named private of the 2nd Battalion, The Derbyshire Regiment (The Sherwood Foresters). He wears the ribbon for the 1854-95 India General Service Medal which was awarded to this battalion with the clasp "Sikkim" for the 1888 campaign in that small independant kingdom in the north of India locted between Bhutan and Nepal. He wears a single Long Service & Good Conduct Stirpe for 2 years service with the crossed rifles of a marksman above. His white Foreign Service Helmet rests on the table next to him.
