| This Sergeant of the 1st Caithness Artillery Volunteers show that not all volunteers were simply part time soldiers. This man wears the Crimean War Medal, The Turkish Crimean War Medal, the Indian Mutiny Medal and what might be a Long Service & Good Conduct Medal.
