Described as a Western set in 19th Century South Africa the film deals with the conflict between Todd - a constabulary sergeant in South Africa and a group of outlaws led by Luke Billings (Lionel Jeffries) and his sons with one son - Jubal Billings - played by James Booth. The film was compared favorably with High Noon which it was apparently largely based.
