This standard bearer was probably part of a medieval pageant or similar event held in the German city of Cöln (Cologne) sometime in the late 19th Century. I have so far be unsuccessful in identifying the coat of arms that appears on the standard and horse trappings. The horse itself appears to be of the stuffed variety.
