| A corporal of the 17th Lancers pictured with a younger man who by all appearance must be his brother. The image date from around 1902-05 when the regiment was stationed in Edinburgh. The Lancer may be a veteran of the Boer War and although he does not wear the associated medals it may be that this photograph was taken prior to their issue. Cabinet Photograph J.
