| Although unmarked by the photographer who took the photograph I have attributed this image to The Fane Studios since the prop chair and backdrop are identical to those in the previous photograph of Corporal "Tom". This image gives an excellent impression of the grizzled appearance that soldiers in the field quickly acquired.
