| This unidentified officer of the 94th Regiment of Foot poses for this photograph would have been taken just after the regiments return for South Africa around 1882. The regiment had taken part in the Anglo- Zulu War the Sekukuni War and the Transvaal War all between 1879 and 1881. Technically the 94th had already become the 2nd Battalion of the Connaught Rangers in 1881 so this was the last time this officer would have posed in the uniform of the old 94th.
